Job summary

Sri Krishna Industries in Chennai seeks a QA/QC Inspector to ensure materials and components meet drawings and quality standards. You will inspect incoming materials, oversee in-process and final checks, and maintain meticulous quality records.

You will read GD&T drawings, use precision measuring instruments, prepare dimensional and inspection reports, and coordinate with production to resolve issues. Freshers and experienced candidates are welcome.

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Freshers and experienced candidates can apply.
• Basic familiarity with quality documentation and ISO 9001 standards would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming raw materials against drawings, specifications, and purchase requirements.
• Conduct in-process and final inspection of machined components.
• Check dimensions using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Bore Gauge, Height Gauge, etc.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications.
• Prepare inspection reports, dimensional reports, and other quality-related documents.
• Ensure products meet customer specifications and quality standards.
• Identify non-conforming materials/components and coordinate with the production team for corrective action.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspection at various stages of production.
• Maintain quality records, inspection reports, and calibration records.
• Coordinate with Production and other departments to resolve quality issues.
• Support customer inspections and audits when required.
• Ensure proper identification and traceability of materials and components.
• Follow company quality procedures and ISO requirements.
