Job summary

Best Group in Gurugram India is seeking an experienced procurement professional to manage end-to-end sourcing of wires, CRC/HRC sheets, plastics, and other raw materials, ensuring timely delivery and cost optimization.

You will lead supplier relations, vendor audits, PO preparation, inventory monitoring, and MIS reporting, while driving continuous improvement and risk mitigation. This role focuses on lead-time reduction and strategic sourcing in a manufacturing context.

Responsibilities

• Procurement of inner wires, CRC/HRC sheets, and plastic raw materials.
• Including VD (Costing)
• Releasing of schedule
• Monitoring of schedule
• Participate in reconciliation of accounts
• Participate in daily review meetings to track status and act accordingly
• Prepare MIS reports daily and weekly
• Implement change management
• Cost reduction via alternate sources (VA/VE), freight and tax reductions
• Follow up with suppliers for timely delivery
• Liaison with suppliers and internal customers
• Manage preparation of Purchase Orders
• Vendor audits
• Procurement of material as per SOB
• Monitor inventory and suggest corrective actions
• Handle supplier rejection disposition
• Maintain purchase-related documents
• ABC classification
• Support risk mitigation analysis
• Monitor exchange rate trends
• Develop long-term supplier partnerships
• Arrange supplier meetings
• DWM (sunrise and sunset)
• Prepare monthly supplier performance reports with QA
• Resolve supplier grievances
• Assist capacity mapping of suppliers
• Reduce lead times
• Assist in commodity strategy
• Market research for alternate sources
• Provide support to suppliers as needed
• Skill development of team members

Job description

• Procurement of inner wires, imports, CRC / HRC sheets, plastic raw materials, fresh enquiry on raw materials, MIS and improvement activities.
• Including VD ( Costing)
• Releasing of schedule
• Monitoring of schedule
• Participation in reconciliation of accounts
• Participation in daily review meeting to know the status and act accordingly
• MIS report daily and weekly
• Implementation of change management
• Cost reduction of procured components through alternate sources VA/VE , freight reduction, tax reduction.
• Follow up with the supplier for timely delivery
• Liaison with supplier and internal customer
• To Manage preparation of PO
• Vendor audit
• Procurement of material as per SOB
• Keep a check on inventory & suggest corrective action
• Supplier rejection disposition
• Maintenance of all documents related to Purchase function
• ABC classification
• Participate and support in making Risk mitigation analysis
• Monitoring of exchange rate trend
• Develop long term partnership with the supplier
• Help arrange supplier meet
• DWM ( sun rise and sunset)
• Making monthly Supplier performance report in coordination with QA & provide to supplier
