Job summary

ScopeHR Consultancy Services seeks an experienced procurement professional to source and procure materials for crane manufacturing. You will identify and develop reliable vendors, negotiate terms, and manage POs to ensure on-time material availability.

role requires coordinating with Production, Planning, Stores, and Quality, monitoring inventory, and evaluating supplier performance. You will drive cost reductions, ensure policy compliance, and maintain thorough procurement records.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure raw materials, mechanical components, electrical parts, and fabrication items for crane manufacturing.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contracts.
• Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) and follow up with suppliers.
• Ensure on-time material availability to meet production schedules.
• Coordinate with Production, Planning, Stores, and Quality departments.
• Monitor inventory levels and avoid shortages or excess stock.
• Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, cost, and delivery.
• Handle vendor audits, supplier development, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Ensure procurement complies with company policies and quality standards.
• Maintain procurement records, reports, and documentation.
• Resolve supplier issues related to quality, delivery delays, and shortages.
