Job summary

Maharaj Commercial seeks a Senior Project Manager Real Estate Development to lead end-to-end real estate projects from inception to completion. You will coordinate with internal teams, external consultants, contractors and regulatory bodies to ensure timely, on-budget delivery and quality.

Responsibilities include planning, site execution, risk management, and regular MIS reporting to executive leadership, with a focus on villa, high-rise, and infrastructure projects.

Job description

The Senior Project Manager Real Estate Development will be responsible for directing end-to-end real estate developments from project inception through completion. The role requires strong strategic and operational leadership to establish project milestones, enforce schedules, eliminate operational bottlenecks, and ensure effective coordination between internal business units, external consultants, contractors, government agencies, and regulatory bodies.

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, within approved timelines and budgets, and in accordance with required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Site Execution

• Direct site operations, contractors, and vendors to ensure project milestones are delivered on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.
• Oversee the end-to-end execution of residential developments, including:
• Villas
• High-rise apartments
• Associated infrastructure projects
• Establish critical project milestones, master delivery schedules, and detailed micro-schedules.
• Conduct periodic timeline reviews to evaluate project KPIs, track task dependencies, and monitor overall progress.
• Identify operational bottlenecks at an early stage and provide solution-oriented recommendations to executive management.
• Ensure timely corrective actions are taken to prevent project delays and disruptions.

2. Reporting, Financial & Resource Management

• Develop, compile, and present comprehensive Monthly MIS Reports to executive leadership.
• Report on:
• Overall project progress

• Operational performance
• Key project issues
• Formulate quarterly financial projections.
• Review and audit project billing.
• Monitor cash flow approvals and project-related financial requirements.

3. Stakeholder Coordination & Regulatory Approvals

• Coordinate with internal Legal and Liaison departments to secure necessary government consents, statutory approvals, and regulatory clearances.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in:

• Related field

• Qualifications from NICMAR or RICS will be strongly preferred.

Experience

• 10–15 years of proven project management experience is required.
• Experience must be within the Real Estate & Construction sector.
