Role Description

The Senior Project Architect is a full-time, on-site role based in Bangalore Urban, responsible for leading the design and execution of architectural projects from concept through completion. The role involves developing design solutions, preparing detailed drawings and specifications, coordinating submittals, and ensuring compliance with local codes, standards, and client requirements. The Senior Project Architect will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, consultants, and site teams to integrate architectural, structural, and MEP elements, and to oversee design changes during construction. Daily responsibilities include reviewing BIM models, guiding junior team members, managing design documentation, and supporting sustainable and LEED-aligned design strategies where applicable. The role also requires regular stakeholder communication to maintain project timelines, budget alignment, and quality benchmarks.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong expertise in Architecture, including concept design, detailed drawings, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
• Candidates should possess solid Project Management skills to plan, schedule, monitor progress, and manage resources effectively across multiple projects.
• Candidates should possess experience with Submittals, including preparing, reviewing, and coordinating technical documents with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools and workflows for design coordination, clash detection, and documentation.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) or equivalent green building standards to support sustainable design practices.
• Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch) from an accredited institution; registration or licensure as an architect is an advantage.
• Experience leading mid- to large-scale real estate or mixed-use projects, ideally within the Indian regulatory and urban context.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills, with the ability to mentor junior architects and coordinate with on-site teams.
• Proficiency in relevant design and documentation software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit or equivalent BIM tools, and presentation software).
