Job summary

Persistent is seeking a Senior Professional Services Engineer (NTRX) to lead remote installation, integration, and support of enterprise recording and compliance solutions. You will handle full project lifecycles, coordinate with customers and third-party vendors, and ensure successful go-lives in financial services environments.

Ideal candidates bring 6+ years in professional services or engineering, strong Windows and networking skills, and hands-on experience with NiCE/Verint recording

Qualifications

• 6+ years in Professional Services, Implementation, or Engineering roles.
• Experience in Financial Services and Banking domains.
• Hands-on experience with recording and compliance platforms.
• Experience integrating with Avaya, Cisco, Teams, and PBX/ACD.
• Experience with AWS/Azure cloud platforms and virtualization.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and deploy NTR-x recording solutions remotely.
• Participate in full project lifecycle from sales handoff to go-live.
• Configure components based on design specs and customer needs.
• Test across unit, functional, system, and integration levels.
• Troubleshoot issues using Wireshark and log analysis tools.
• Collaborate with customer teams and vendors for integrations.
• Provide technical guidance during project execution and QA.
• Identify risks and coordinate with Support, R&D, and management.
• Maintain proactive customer communication on status and updates.
• Support after-hours and on-site global engagements as needed.
• Provide feedback to Product Support and R&D.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Professional Services Engineer (NTRX) to join our Delivery and Engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the remote installation, implementation, configuration, integration, and support of enterprise-scale recording and compliance solutions. The role requires strong expertise in telephony, networking, Windows platforms, recording solutions, and customer-facing technical consulting within banking and financial services environments.

What You'll Do:

• Install, integrate, configure, and deploy NTR-x recording solutions remotely, adhering to enterprise standards and customer requirements.
• Participate in the complete project lifecycle from sales handoff through implementation, testing, go-live, and project closure.
• Configure and customize solution components based on design specifications and customer business requirements.
• Execute unit, functional, system, and integration testing while supporting customer UAT and solution validation activities.
• Troubleshoot technical issues using Wireshark, log analysis tools, and other network diagnostic utilities.
• Collaborate with customer teams and third-party vendors to configure and validate integration points across customer environments.
• Provide technical expertise throughout project execution including solution design, implementation, quality assurance, and client support.
• Identify, report, and elevate implementation risks and issues while coordinating with Support, R&D, and management teams.
• Maintain proactive communication with customers and stakeholders regarding project status, risks, and technical updates.
• Support after-hours, weekend, client-site, and global engagement activities when required.
• Provide customer feedback and enhancement recommendations to Product Support and R&D teams.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• 6+ years of experience in Professional Services, Implementation, or Engineering roles.
• Experience in Financial Services and Banking domain environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with NiCE, Verint, or similar recording and compliance platforms.
• Experience in installation, configuration, upgrades, and maintenance of recording solutions on Windows and cloud platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and operating systems.
• Solid understanding of IP/SIP communication protocols and enterprise telephony systems.
• Strong networking fundamentals including OSI Model, TCP/IP, UDP, LAN/WAN, NICs, routers, switches, and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with Wireshark, packet analysis, log analysis, and network diagnostic tools.
• Basic scripting and query knowledge using SQL and Shell scripting.
• Strong stakeholder management, presentation, and customer-facing communication skills.
• Ability to lead technical discussions and represent project teams in customer meetings.
• Experience integrating recording solutions with Avaya, Cisco, Microsoft Teams, Amazon Connect, and other PBX/ACD platforms.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
• Exposure to VMware and Citrix virtualization technologies.
• Experience with LDAP, SSO, MDC, ACD integrations, database migrations, Disaster Recovery (DR), and High Availability (HA) architectures.
• Knowledge of Microsoft security technologies including Active Directory, Domain Controllers, Group Policy, DNS, certificates, encryption, and security hardening.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2012 and above), including installation, administration, backup, recovery, and performance maintenance.
• Certifications such as MCP, MCSE, CCNA, VMware, Citrix, AWS, or Azure.
• Experience delivering enterprise-scale compliance, recording, and telephony solutions.
• Exposure to multi-site, high-availability, and disaster recovery deployments.
