Job summary

Freshtohome in Kerala seeks a Production Supervisor to plan shift production, supervise on the shop floor, and ensure high-quality output in line with recipes and process parameters.

The role involves hands-on floor presence, coordinating with packing teams, and maintaining safety and hygiene standards to meet daily targets and maintain product traceability.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute shift-wise production schedules to meet daily and monthly targets.
• Supervise end-to-end production activities on the shop floor, ensuring smooth workflow and minimal downtime.
• Be actively present on the production floor, working closely with the team during processing operations.
• Ensure all products are manufactured strictly according to approved recipes and process parameters.
• Oversee production of cold cuts, marinated products, and breaded products, ensuring consistency in quality and taste.
• Conduct regular checks during production to ensure adherence to food safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
• Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of 1015 production staff per shift.
• Ensure staff are working as per defined standards with speed, efficiency, and discipline.
• Provide on-the-job guidance, training, and corrective instructions to improve performance.
• Ensure the packing section follows approved SOPs for packaging, labeling, and handling of finished products.
• Coordinate with the packing team to ensure timely movement of finished goods to designated chillers or freezers.
• Monitor proper storage conditions and product traceability.
