Job summary

Wahal Process Technologies Pvt. Ltd. in Sonipat, Haryana, is seeking a Senior Production Engineer with 4–8 years of experience to support shop floor production, quality control, and equipment assembly.

You will work with design and QC teams to ensure drawings are followed, maintain quality documentation, and help with inspections, testing, and dispatch readiness. This role offers hands-on exposure to end-to-end manufacturing processes, direct mentorship from senior engineers, and opportunities

Qualifications

• B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
• Understanding of drawings, GD&T and measuring instruments (vernier, micrometer).
• Willingness to work on shop floor and coordinate with multiple teams.
• Good communication across design, production and QC teams.
• Proactive, detail oriented and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Maintain quality documentation: inspection reports, test certificates, non-conformance records.
• Support fabrication, machining and assembly processes on the shop floor.
• Coordinate with design/engineering to resolve drawing discrepancies.
• Assist with dimensional checks, material verification, and welding inspection.
• Track production schedules and flag delays or bottlenecks.
• Support final testing and trial runs of equipment before dispatch.
• Maintain traceability records for materials and components.

Role Overview
We're looking for an experienced production Engineer to support quality control and production operations on the shop floor, ensuring equipment is built to spec and delivered on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain quality documentation: inspection reports, test certificates, non-conformance records
• Support fabrication, machining, and assembly processes on the shop floor
• Coordinate with design/engineering team to resolve drawing discrepancies or fitment issues
• Assist with dimensional checks, material verification, and welding inspection
• Track production schedules and flag delays or bottlenecks
• Support final testing/trial runs of equipment before dispatch
• Maintain traceability records for materials and components

Requirements

• B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering
• Basic understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and measuring instruments (vernier, micrometer, etc.)
• Familiarity with fabrication/machining processes is a plus
• Willingness to work on the shop floor, not just a desk role
• Good communication skills to coordinate across design, production, and QC teams
