Job summary

Wahal Process Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) for Quality Control and Production. The role focuses on supporting QC and shop floor production to ensure equipment is built to spec and delivered on schedule.

You will inspect materials, maintain documentation, assist with fabrication and assembly, and coordinate with design/engineering to resolve discrepancies. A 2024/2025 B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

• B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering (2024/2025 batch preferred).
• Basic understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and measuring instruments (vernier, micrometer).
• Familiarity with fabrication/machining processes is a plus.
• Willingness to work on the shop floor, not just a desk role.
• Good communication skills to coordinate across design, production, and QC teams.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming raw materials, in-process components, and finished assemblies against drawings and QC checklists.
• Maintain quality documentation: inspection reports, test certificates, non-conformance records.
• Support fabrication, machining, and assembly processes on the shop floor.
• Coordinate with design/engineering team to resolve drawing discrepancies or fitment issues.
• Assist with dimensional checks, material verification, and welding inspection.
• Track production schedules and flag delays or bottlenecks.
• Support final testing/trial runs of equipment before dispatch.
• Maintain traceability records for materials and components.
