Job summary

Qualifications

• B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering
• Basic understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and measuring instruments (vernier, micrometer, etc.)
• Familiarity with fabrication/machining processes is a plus
• Willingness to work on the shop floor, not just a desk role
• Good communication skills to coordinate across design, production, and QC teams
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Maintain quality documentation: inspection reports, test certificates, non-conformance records
• Support fabrication, machining, and assembly processes on the shop floor
• Coordinate with design/engineering team to resolve drawing discrepancies or fitment issues
• Assist with dimensional checks, material verification, and welding inspection
• Track production schedules and flag delays or bottlenecks
• Support final testing/trial runs of equipment before dispatch
• Maintain traceability records for materials and components
