Qualifications

• Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical required.
• 2–5 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication.
• Hands-on shop floor experience in sheet metal processes.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Exposure to TIG/MIG welding and measurement tools.
• Good computer skills for reporting (MS Excel).

Responsibilities

• Oversee sheet metal fabrication processes including cutting, bending, welding, grinding, polishing, and finishing.
• Manage daily production activities to meet output targets and delivery timelines.
• Interpret and implement engineering drawings for production execution.
• Supervise shop floor manpower (20–35 workers).
• Drive productivity improvement and OEE enhancement.
• Implement Kaizen initiatives and cost reduction measures.
• Ensure quality standards and minimize rework/rejections.
• Conduct time studies and optimize process efficiency.
• Prepare and report daily/weekly/monthly MIS on production, efficiency, and output.
• Coordinate with HOD and cross-functional teams for smooth operations.
