Xactly, backed by Vista Equity Partners, is seeking a Senior Product Manager in India to lead enterprise SaaS initiatives. You will collaborate with engineering, UX, and customer-facing teams to design and deliver compelling platform solutions for enterprise clients.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of product management experience in SaaS with an engineering/technical background.
  • Experience building core platforms, low-code builders, app ecosystems or AI-centric UX.
  • Strong understanding of web technologies and SDLC; capable of translating market needs into technical specs.
  • Experience working with enterprise clients and translating requirements into architectures.

Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver core platform initiatives and add-on features from concept to delivery for engineering teams.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Customer Success, Support and Implementation to ensure adoption.
  • Triages bugs, prioritizes requests, and grooms backlog within agile rituals.
  • Define and track product performance metrics and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Engage with clients and market to validate concepts and present findings.

About the Role – Senior Product Manager

In this role, you will be part of a high‑performing, lively, and tight‑knit team consisting of Product Managers and User Experience professionals. As part of the Product Management team, you will act as an innovative forward‑thinker, collaborating across functional boundaries to discover, design, and deliver the best enterprise platform solutions for our users.

What You’ll Do
  • Own and Deliver Product Initiatives: Lead concurrent core platform projects and add‑on features from concept to completion, translating user needs and business requirements into clear, executable development units for the engineering team.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Engineering to refine requirements and test plans, and align with Customer Success, Customer Support, and Implementation teams to ensure seamless feature adoption.
  • Backlog & Lifecycle Management: Triage bugs, prioritize feature requests, and systematically groom the product backlog while actively participating in agile scrum rituals (sprint planning, daily standups).
  • Strategic Growth & Metrics: Collaborate with product leadership to define, systematically track, and report on critical product performance metrics, performing deep‑dive analyses to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Market & Customer Engagement: Work directly with clients and engage with the broader market to conduct user research, validate new product concepts, and present findings and recommendations to key stakeholders.
Must‑Have Skills
  • SaaS Product Leadership: 8+ years of product management experience within the SaaS industry, backed by an engineering or technical background.
  • Domain Competency: Proven experience in building at least one of the following: core Platforms, Low‑Code App Builders, App Ecosystems, or AI‑Centric User Experiences.
  • Technical Proficiency: Solid technical understanding of web‑based technologies, modern software development lifecycles, and intermediate working knowledge of SQL.
  • Client‑Facing Capability: Demonstrated experience working directly with enterprise clients, gathering market requirements, and translating them into technical frameworks.
  • Analytical & Communication Competency: Proven quantitative problem‑solving skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Good‑to‑Have Skills
  • Domain Expertise: Prior experience working with Incentive Compensation Management (ICM), Territory, or Quota applications.
  • Modern Computing Exposure: Hands‑on familiarity with Generative AI applications, agentic workflows, or complex enterprise data analytics platforms.
  • Academic Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent technical field.
