Job summary

Technip Energies in Mumbai is seeking a Senior Principal Engineer - Offshore Structures to lead FEED and detailed engineering for fixed and floating offshore facilities. The role requires 15+ years in FEED, design, and detail engineering, with strong knowledge of offshore codes and structural analysis.

Candidates should have BE Civil and ideally ME in Structural/Offshore Structural, with expert use of SACS, Navisworks, and SmartPlant Review.

Qualifications

• B.E. – Civil engineering with 15+ years experience in FEED and design & detail engineering for EPCIC offshore projects.
• M.E. in Structural/Offshore Structural (preferred) with relevant expertise.
• Fluent English communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee FEED and detailed engineering for fixed and floating offshore facilities.
• Lead structural analysis and design of topside decks, jackets, and FPSO modules.
• Ensure compliance with API RP-2A, NORSOK N-004, EURO-3, and ISO offshore codes.
• Perform 3D model reviews using Navisworks/SmartPlant Review.
• Prepare structural design reports and MTOs.

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a SeniorPrincipal Engineer - Offshore Structures, reporting directly to HOD – Offshore Structural to join our Offshore Structural team based in Mumbai.

Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee and manage the responsibilities below.

• Experience in FEED, Design & detail engineering of EPCIC Projects of Fixed/Floating Offshore Oil & Gas production/processing facilities.
• Candidate shall have good exposures to Structural analysis and design of Topside decks and/or Jackets and/or FPSO modules.
• Well versed with API-RP-2A (WSD), AISC-ASD and other relevant codes and standards such as NORSOK N-004, EURO-3, ISO 19900 series of Offshore codes.
• Candidate should have good experience in using SACS for Pre-service and In-service analysis of Topside decks, Jackets and FPSO modules.
• Candidate should be able to carry out these analysis independently and prepare Structural design reports and generate MTOs.
• Should have good experience in Structural drawing checking and preparation of Weight Control reports. Candidate should have experience of reviewing 3D models using Navisworks/Smart plant review.
