Job summary

Technip Energies in Mumbai is seeking a Principal Engineer - Offshore Structures to join the Offshore Structural team, reporting to HOD - Offshore Structural.

You will oversee FEED, design and detail engineering of fixed and floating offshore oil and gas facilities, ensure code compliance, and deliver structural reports. The ideal candidate brings 10–15 years of experience and a BE Civil (ME preferred).

Qualifications

• Fluent English language required.
• 10–15 years of FEED, design and detail engineering for fixed/floating offshore facilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee FEED, design and detail engineering for EPCIC offshore projects.
• Lead structural analysis and design of topside decks, jackets and FPSO modules.
• Ensure compliance with API RP-2A (WSD), NORSOK N-004, EURO-3 and ISO 19900 series.
• Perform pre-service and in-service analyses using SACS.
• Prepare structural design reports and material take-offs (MTOs).
• Review 3D models with Navisworks/Smart Plant Review.

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Principal Engineer - Offshore Structures, reporting directly to HOD - Offshore Structural to join our Offshore Structural team based in Mumbai.

Key Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee and manage the responsibilities below.

• Experience in FEED, Design & detail engineering of EPCIC Projects of Fixed/Floating Offshore Oil & Gas production/processing facilities.
• Candidate shall have good exposures to Structural analysis and design of Topside decks and/or Jackets and/or FPSO modules.
• Well versed with API-RP-2A (WSD), AISC-ASD and other relevant codes and standards such as NORSOK N-004, EURO-3, ISO 19900 series of Offshore codes.
• Candidate should have good experience in using SACS for Pre-service and In-service analysis of Topside decks, Jackets and FPSO modules.
• Candidate should be able to carry out these analysis independently and prepare Structural design reports and generate MTOs.
• Should have good experience in Structural drawing checking and preparation of Weight Control reports. Candidate should have experience of reviewing 3D models using Navisworks/Smart plant review.
