Job summary

Datavail is seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud HCM Payroll Functional professional in Hyderabad. The role focuses on leading Fusion Payroll implementations for US and Caribbean regions, configuring tax rules, calendars, and payments, and providing AMS support post go‑live.

You will act as SME for payroll configuration, drive FRD and design docs, and lead SIT/UAT testing while mentoring junior consultants in a cross‑functional environment.

Qualifications

• Lead and support Oracle Fusion Payroll implementations for US and Caribbean countries.
• Gather and analyze payroll requirements and translate them into scalable Oracle solutions.
• Act as Payroll Subject Matter Expert (SME) for payroll configuration including Federal, State, and Local tax configuration, statutory deductions, taxes, and social security contributions.
• Configure payroll elements, balances, fast formulas, payroll calendars, costing, and retro pay.
• Prepare Functional Requirement Documents (FRD) and solution design documents.
• Lead payroll testing activities including SIT, UAT, and parallel payroll runs.
• Support payroll integrations with General Ledger, banking systems, and Time & Labor.
• Handle payroll reconciliations, compliance checks, and audit support.
• Provide post‑go‑live / AMS support, manage payroll issues, and drive continuous improvements.
• Mentor junior consultants and act as a payroll subject matter expert.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute Oracle Fusion Payroll implementations across multiple regions.
• Gather payroll requirements and map them to Oracle Cloud configurations.
• Configure tax rules, deductions, calendars, and payment methods.
• Oversee testing cycles (SIT/UAT) and payroll reconciliations.
• Collaborate with GL, banking, and Time & Labor teams for integrations.
• Prepare FRDs and design documents to guide delivery.
• Provide post‑go‑live AMS support and drive process improvements.
• Mentor and coach junior consultants on Oracle Cloud Payroll.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Support quarterly and year‑end payroll processing (941, W‑2, W‑2c)
• Prepare Functional Requirement Documents (FRD) and solution design documents
• Configure payroll elements, balances, fast formulas, costing, and payment methods
• Lead payroll testing activities including SIT, UAT, and parallel payroll runs
• Support payroll integrations with General Ledger, banking systems, and Time & Labor
• Handle payroll reconciliations, compliance checks, and audit support

• Perform impact analysis and support Oracle Cloud quarterly updates
