Job summary

HiLITE Group is seeking a Planning Engineer (Civil) in Kerala to develop and manage project schedules from design through handover using Primavera P6. You will analyze critical paths, resource needs, and procurement timelines, coordinating with QS and site teams to ensure realistic progress and cash flow alignment.

The role requires a BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering (planning/controls certification desirable) and hands-on experience in project scheduling and controls.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering required; planning/controls certification desirable.
• Experience with project scheduling and controls preferred; knowledge of Primavera P6 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop project WBS, activity lists, and schedules aligned with milestones.
• Prepare and maintain an integrated Primavera P6 master schedule across design to handover.
• Analyze critical paths, dependencies, floats, and timelines.
• Prepare floor-cycle plans, resource histograms, equipment needs, and procurement schedules.
• Coordinate with QS teams to track BOQ quantities, progress, PV, S-curves and cash flow.
• Coordinate drawing approvals, consultant deliverables, vendor lead times, and site needs.
• Establish baselines, update progress, and prepare look-ahead plans (2/4/6 weeks).
• Prepare weekly/monthly progress, delay analysis, risk registers, and recovery plans.
• Monitor physical/financial progress, procurement status, and schedule changes.
• Work with site/contractor teams to validate progress and forecast completion.

Prepare and maintain an integrated Primavera P6 master schedule covering design, approvals, procurement, construction, MEP, finishing, commissioning, and handover.

Analyse critical paths, activity dependencies, float, and construction timelines.

Prepare floor-cycle plans, manpower and resource histograms, equipment requirements, and procurement schedules.

Coordinate with QS teams to track BOQ quantities, physical progress, planned value, S-curves, and project cash flow.

Coordinate drawing approvals, consultant deliverables, vendor lead times, and site requirements.

Establish schedule baselines, update project progress, and prepare 2/4/6-week look-ahead plans.

Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, delay analysis, risk registers, and recovery plans.

Monitor physical and financial progress, procurement status, and schedule changes.

Coordinate with site and contractor teams to validate progress and ensure realistic completion forecasts.
