Job summary

Acesoft Labs is hiring a Physical Design Engineer for Hyderabad, onsite. You will contribute to hands-on layout, timing closure, and STA for blocks in advanced nodes. The role requires 5–8 years of experience with strong fundamentals in digital electronics and problem-solving skills.

You'll work with Cadence Innovus/Tempus and Caliber for DRC/LVS closure, address IR issues, and collaborate across teams in a fast-paced environment. Immediate NP, 2 positions available, interview rounds planned.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of hands-on physical design implementation experience with APR flow development and PPA analysis.
• STA closure at block level and experience with advanced process nodes.
• Strong fundamentals in digital electronics and microprocessors, good analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical design implementation and STA closure for blocks.
• Develop APR flows and conduct PPA analysis for optimization.
• Utilize Cadence tools (Innovus, Tempus) for layout and timing work.
• Address DRC/LVS/Antenna checks and CD/IR issues with Caliber tool.
• Collaborate with teams to resolve IR issues and ensure design closure.

Job Description:

• 5-8 years of hands-on physical design implementation experience along with APR flow development and PPA analysis
• STA closure at block
• Experience in Advanced process technology nodes (6/7 nm preferred)
• Experience with Cadence layout tools (Innovus, Tempus, etc.)
• Hands on work experience in Physical verification closure (DRC/LVS/Antenna) with Caliber tool
• Experience in closing all the IR issues within the block based on feedback
• Should be strong in fundamentals of digital electronics and microprocessors
• Should have very good analytical skills
• Required soft skills English language proficiency, Good collaboration and interpersonal skills. Good analytical and Problem-solving skills along with strong ownership, commitment and time management.
• Bachelors or Masters with a relevant education is in the field of electronics and computer architecture
