Job summary

7Rays Semiconductor Private Ltd. is seeking a hands-on Physical Design engineer to work end-to-end PD from Synthesis to GDSII, with strong focus on P&R, STA, power integrity. You will collaborate with CAD, Methodology, and IP teams, drive critical sign-off tasks and ensure tight delivery schedules.

You will lead floorplanning, placement, CTS, routing, extraction, and timing checks, contributing to the tape-out of multiple chips on the latest technology nodes.

Qualifications

• Hands-on PD skills from Synthesis to GDSII and strong P&R background.
• Expert knowledge of ICC/Innovus and sign-off processes.
• Experience taping out multiple chips on latest technology nodes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with CAD, Methodology & IP teams for PD implementation.
• Lead regular sync-ups to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Drive SoC STA, Power, Physical Verification and sign-off activities.
• Contribute to tape-out readiness for multiple chips.

Job description

• Excellent hands-on P&R skills with expert knowledge in ICC/Innovus
• Expert knowledge in all aspects of PD from Synthesis to GDSII, Strong background in Floorplanning, Placement, CTS, Routing, P&R, Extraction, IR Drop Analysis, Timing, and Signal Integrity closure
• Experience at taping out multiple chips, strong experience at the latest technology nodes.
• CAD, Methodology & IP team collaboration is very essential for PD implementation, must conduct regular sync-ups for deliveries.
• Significant knowledge and preferably hands on experience on SoC STA, Power, Physical Verification and other sign-off.
• Good problem-solving capabilities, proactive, hardworking with strong interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics or Computer Engineering
