Job summary

New Vision Softcom Consultancy is seeking a Senior Performance Testing specialist in a Hybrid Hyderabad/Bengaluru role. You will design, script, execute and analyze performance tests across SaaS, PaaS and on-prem environments. Strong JMeter experience is mandatory; LoadRunner/NeoLoad is a plus.

Cloud familiarity with Azure/W AWS and observability tools is preferred. The role emphasizes collaboration with product and delivery teams to ensure performance objectives are met across the software

Qualifications

• Experience in designing, scripting, executing, collecting metrics of performance testing.
• Proven background in performance testing and NFR gathering, managing lifecycle from strategy to analysis.
• Strong hands-on in performance testing with JMeter; LoadRunner/Neo Load viewed as plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver timely, high-quality performance engineering for large and complex solutions.
• Define performance testing and NFR strategies, plans and success criteria.
• Build and maintain relationships across cross-functional teams to ensure delivery.
• Design, develop and maintain performance test scripts using Apache JMeter.
• Execute performance, load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests.
• Collect, monitor and analyze metrics from application, infrastructure and database layers.
• Identify bottlenecks, perform root-cause analysis, provide optimization recommendations.
• Prepare test reports, dashboards and executive summaries highlighting findings.

Required Experience & Skills

• Experience in designing, scripting, executing, collecting metrics of performance testing.
• Proven background in performance testing and NFR gathering, managing the complete lifecycle from strategy and planning through execution and performance analysis.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in performance testing is mandatory, with strongexpertisein JMeter.(Experience with LoadRunner andNeo Loadwill be considered an added advantage)
• Basic knowledge of databases, including understanding of SQL queries, data validation, and performance-related database concepts.
• Demonstrated experience in performance testing across SaaS, PaaS, and on-premises environments. Strong exposure to cloud platforms, especially Microsoft Azure, is highly preferred.(Experiencewith AWSconsidered a valuableadditionalskill)
• Experience with application monitoring and observability tools such asDynatrace, AppDynamics, Grafanaor Splunk.

• Drive the identification and creation of test scenarios, test cases, and workloads tovalidateperformance, scalability, reliability, and other NFRs.
• Design, develop, andmaintainperformance test scripts usingApache JMeter.
• Execute performance, load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing activities.
• Collect,monitor, andanalyzeperformance metrics from application, infrastructure, and database layers.
• Identifyperformance bottlenecks, conduct root cause analysis, and provide recommendations for performance optimization.
• Prepare comprehensive test reports, dashboards, and executive summaries, highlighting findings, risks, and actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate closely with development, architecture, DevOps, infrastructure, and product teams to ensure performanceobjectivesare achieved throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
