Nestdigital is seeking a Senior Test Engineer specializing in performance and load testing in Bengaluru. The role demands 7+ years of experience in performance, load, and reliability testing, with Azure cloud basics and strong API/UI load testing proficiency.

The candidate should have exposure to large-scale ecommerce systems, complex architectures, and robust test automation skills. The position involves designing and executing multi-layer performance tests, analyzing results, and guiding teams

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in performance, load and reliability testing.
• Basic Cloud Knowledge in Azure is required to conduct various flavors of performance tests and load tests in Cloud environments
• Worked in complex systems and architecture, preferably eCommerce projects where large amounts of load and concurrent user tests involved
• UI/UX Performance Testing
• API Performance and load Testing using JMeter
• Knowledge in Load Balancers, Operating System (Windows/Unix)
• Experience in using Performance Monitoring tools such as Perfmon, New Relic, AppDynamics, Dynatrace or Splunk
• Identify transaction and workflows and calculate workload TPS goals and rates
• Able to calculate think time and pacing
• Log file analysis, run queries and monitor performance
• Understand littles law
• Advanced SQL Skills
• Understanding user behaviors when it comes to app usage
• Interpreting performance test results
• Java/JMeter Scripting

Responsibilities

• 7+ yrs. Experience in Performance, load and reliability testing
• Expert in designing and executing performance and load tests on UI, and API applications
• Experience working in Agile teams with exposure to detailing PBIs, DSU with multiple stakeholders
• Identify Performance environment and acceptance criteria, test environment configuration, and participate in test planning, design and execution
• Design, develop, and execute performance, Integration, Stress, Load test cases and scripts through analysis of product specifications and software requirements, mentoring other test team members
• Validate production readiness of software applications and infrastructure for stability and performance
• Define requirements and identify appropriate performance and load testing strategies and approach
• Diagnose and resolve performance and load issues and work on performance fine-tuning
• Work withcollaborative project management tools, load generators and other tools for performance monitoring
• Skilled in preparing performance and load test bed
• Conduct system performance and load testing to ensure system reliability, capacity and scalability.
• Work with testing team to develop performance and load test plans and cases.
• Analyze test results and coordinate with development teams for bug fixes.
• Generate test summary reports for management review.
• Analyze root causes of performance and load issues and provide corrective actions.
• Develop automated test scenarios and environments for performance and load testing.
• Review and recommend improvements to existing performance and load test procedures
• Suggest new tools and techniques to improve testing efficiency.
• Expected to maintain technical expertise via self-education in the performance/load testing arena, and Quality Assurance
• Report defects found in testing diligently, promptly, and accurately, using standard defect tracking tools
