Job summary

Epam Systems is seeking an experienced Senior Performance Test Engineer to lead performance testing across complex projects. You will design strategies, model peak workloads, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure reliability and scalability of critical applications.

You will build and maintain test harnesses using LoadRunner and JMeter, monitor systems with Dynatrace, Datadog or Grafana, and produce executive-ready reports. Fluency in English (B2+) is expected.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of experience in performance test engineering.
• Expertise in Apache JMeter for building and executing performance test harnesses.
• Proficiency in at least one advanced monitoring tool such as Dynatrace, Datadog, or Grafana with end-to-end setup capability.
• Familiarity with Splunk and Syndigo for observability and monitoring.
• Background in designing peak workload models based on historical usage data and logs.
• Skills in analysing application risk profiles and translating objectives into test types and monitoring strategies.
• Competency in rightsizing performance test environments and negotiating response time requirements with stakeholders.
• Capability to lead root cause analysis in production and non-production environments.
• Understanding of how to prepare and deliver customized reports for technical and executive audiences.
• Proficiency in English at an Upper-Intermediate level (B2) or higher.
