Job summary

Lohiya Group in Kondapur, Hyderabad is seeking a Junior Performance Test Engineer to apply performance testing concepts and methodologies. You will work with tools like JMeter, BlazeMeter, LoadRunner, NeoLoad, and K6 to design, execute, and analyze load, stress, spike, endurance, and scalability tests.

The role requires understanding of response time, throughput, concurrent users, error rate, TPS, and percentile metrics, along with HTTP/HTTPS, REST APIs, SOAP, JSON, XML, SQL, and client-server

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of performance testing concepts and methodologies.
• Hands-on exposure to listed tools for load testing.
• Understand response time, throughput, concurrent users, error rate, TPS, and percentile metrics.
• Basic knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS, REST APIs, SOAP, JSON, XML, SQL, and client-server concepts.
• Familiar with parameterisation, correlation, assertions, scripting, and test data management.
• Exposure to monitoring tools is preferred, and basic scripting knowledge is an advantage.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, execute, and analyse load, stress, spike, endurance, scalability, and volume tests.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and prepare test summary reports.
• Support test design, parameterisation, correlations, and scripting tasks.
• Collaborate with developers and QA teams to drive performance improvements.

We are looking for a Junior Performance Test Engineer with basic knowledge of performance testing concepts and methodologies.
The candidate should have hands-on exposure to Apache JMeter, BlazeMeter, LoadRunner, NeoLoad, and K6.
The role involves preparing, executing, and analysing load, stress, spike, endurance, scalability, and volume tests.
Candidates should understand response time, throughput, concurrent users, error rate, TPS, and percentile metrics.
Basic knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS, REST APIs, SOAP, JSON, XML, SQL, and client-server architecture is required.
The candidate should be familiar with parameterisation, correlation, assertions, scripting, and test data management.
Exposure to monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Dynatrace, New Relic, AppDynamics, or Azure Monitor is preferred.
Basic scripting knowledge in JavaScript, Java, Groovy, or Python will be an advantage.
Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps is desirable.
The candidate should assist in identifying performance bottlenecks and preparing test summary reports.
Good analytical, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills are required.
