We're looking for a dynamic Optometrist cum Store Manager who can combine clinical expertise with strong store operations and leadership skills.

Role Overview

This is a dual-responsibility role - you will serve as the store's primary Optometrist for eye examinations and vision care, while also managing overall store operations, staff, sales targets, and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Optometry:

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and vision testing
• Diagnose refractive errors and prescribe corrective lenses/eyewear
• Advise customers on lens types, coatings, and frame selection
• Maintain accurate patient records and examination reports
• Ensure optometry equipment is well-maintained and calibrated
• Adhere to clinical protocols and company SOPs

Store Management:

• Oversee daily store operations, ensuring smooth functioning and adherence to SOPs
• Drive store sales and achieve monthly/quarterly revenue targets
• Manage inventory - stock levels, ordering, and reconciliation
• Supervise, train, and motivate store staff (Vision Advisors/Vision Experts)
• Handle customer escalations and ensure high customer satisfaction
• Monitor store cash handling, billing, and daily reporting to management
• Ensure store visual merchandising and cleanliness standards are maintained
• Coordinate with HR/Accounts/Operations teams on staffing, salary, and compliance matters
• Prepare and share store performance reports with senior management

Requirements

• Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Optometry (D.Optom/B.Optom) from a recognized institution
• Prior experience in optical retail, with exposure to store operations/team handling preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to drive store targets
• Comfortable managing both clinical duties and administrative/operational responsibilities
