Job summary

Emerson in Mumbai is seeking a senior project manager to build long-term customer partnerships through trusted delivery of complex control system projects.

You will plan end-to-end lifecycle, coordinate with global teams, manage budgets, risks, and change requests, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics, or related discipline).
• 15+ years of experience managing medium to large-scale control system projects.
• Strong understanding of industrial automation, control systems, and project execution methodologies.
• Proficiency in project management tools and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Proven ability to manage project scope, schedule, cost, and risk & stockholder management
• Strong customer-facing, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• PMP, MBA certification

• Experience managing cross-functional or global teams

• Exposure to Oil & Gas, Power, Chemicals, Life Sciences, or Process Industries

• Proven working experience in project management of Distributed Control Systems (DCS)/Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) /Emergency Shutdown System (ESD) systems.

• Strong presentation and leadership skills

• Strong commercial acumen and experience handling contracts and change management
