Job summary

Hudson Manpower Inc. in Gurugram seeks an Electrical CAD Drafter with strong AutoCAD skills to draft AIS & GIS substation layouts, SLDs, and related drawings. The candidate should be proficient in creating general arrangement drawings and electrical layouts for HV/EHV substations.

The ideal applicant will hold a diploma or degree in electrical engineering, possess AutoCAD certification, and be comfortable reading English. BIM & RevIt certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any stream or diploma in electrical is MUST.
• AutoCAD certification is mandatory.
• BIM & Revit certification will be an added advantage.
• Must be able to read/write English.

Responsibilities

• Draft AIS & GIS substations, General arrangement drawings and SLDs.
• Prepare Electrical layouts plan & Section for HV/EHV substations.
• Create Erection Key Diagram, earthing, and Lighting Protection layouts.
• Develop foundation plan and Cable trench layout; BOM and cable schedules.
• Coordinate with civil and mechanical drawings; ensure compliance with AIS & IEC standards.

Job description

A) Job description

1. Should have experience in drafting work for both AIS & GIS substation.
2. Should have Clear concept of EHV equipment, structures, and Layouts.
3. Should be capable for preparing General arrangement drawings.
4. Hands on experience on preparation of Electrical Single Line Diagram for HV / EHV Sub-stations, LT system etc.
5. Preparation of Electrical layouts plan & Section for HV/ EHV Sub-stations.
6. Preparation of Erection Key Diagram, earthing layout, Lightening Protection Layout
7. Preparation of foundation plan & Cable trench layout.
8. Cable schedule and quantity estimation.
9. Preparation of Panel arrangement layout.
10. Preparation of Lighting layout, Conduit Layout, SLDs. BOM.
11. Coordination with civil drawings, Mechanical drawings etc.
12. Awareness of ANSI Code, IEC - Clearance requirements in AIS & GIS substations

B) Software & skills required:

1. Excellent proficiency in AutoCAD
