Job summary

Hudson IT and Manpower is seeking a skilled electrical drafter to support AIS and GIS substations. You will develop General Arrangement drawings, prepare single line diagrams for HV/EHV systems, and create layout plans for HV/EHV substations.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM 360, and Revit is essential, with MS Word and Excel for documentation. The role requires a bachelor’s or diploma in electrical engineering, AutoCAD certification, and English literacy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a diploma in electrical is MUST.
• AutoCAD certification is mandatory.
• Certification in BIM & Revit will be added advantage.
• Should be able to write and read English.

Responsibilities

• Draft General Arrangement drawings for AIS & GIS substations.
• Prepare electrical single line diagrams for HV/EHV substations and LT systems.
• Prepare of electrical layouts plan & section for HV/ EHV substations.
• Prepare foundation plan & cable trench layout.
• Prepare panel arrangement layout, lighting layout, conduit layout, BOM.
• Coordinate with civil and mechanical drawings.
• Awareness of ANSI Code, IEC – Clearance requirements in AIS & GIS substations.

Job description

Should have experience in drafting work for both AIS & GIS substation.

Should have Clear concept of EHV equipment, structures, and Layouts.

Should be capable for preparing General arrangement drawings.

Hands on experience on preparation of Electrical Single Line Diagram for HV / EHV Sub-stations, LT system etc.

Preparation of Electrical layouts plan & Section for HV/ EHV Sub-stations.

Preparation of Erection Key Diagram, earthing layout, Lightening Protection Layout

Preparation of foundation plan & Cable trench layout.

Cable schedule and quantity estimation.

Preparation of Panel arrangement layout.

Preparation of Lighting layout, Conduit Layout, SLDs. BOM.

Coordination with civil drawings, Mechanical drawings etc.

Awareness of ANSI Code, IEC – Clearance requirements in AIS & GIS substations

Software & skills required:

Excellent proficiency in AutoCAD

BIM 360, Revit

MS-word, Excel
