T Stanes in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, seeks a senior Microbiology specialist for our Microbial Research & Technology Transfer division. The role focuses on microbial agri-products, bioprocess technology, and formulations of bio-fungicides, plant probiotics, and bio-pesticides/bio-fertilizers.

Ideal candidates hold an MSc or PhD in Microbiology with substantial experience and will work under the Head - Microbiology -R&D in a dynamic research environment in India.

Qualifications

• MSc in Industrial Microbiology or Agricultural Microbiology with 10 years in microbial technology.
• PhD in Microbiology with 6 years research experience in bio-product formulations.
• Experience in quality and formulations of bio-fungicides, plant probiotics, bio-pesticides/bio-fertiliser.

Job description

Academic Qualification:

M.Sc., (Industrial Microbiology) or Agri. Microbiology/- with 10 years experience in the field of microbial technology with reference to quality & formulations of bio-fungicides, plant probiotics, bio-pesticides/bio-fertiliser.

Or Ph.D. in Microbiology with 6 yrs research experience in the formulations of Bio products.

Technical Expertise:

Should have good knowledge and working experience in a) Microbial based agri-products and b).Bioprocess Technology. Preference shall be given to candidates with experience in microbial formulations & validation of microbial products for application as bio-pesticides, bio-fungicides & bio-stimulants.

Functional area:

Microbial Research & Technology transfer section.

Personal Requirements:

Preferably, hailing from India; with good communicative skills in English. Selected candidates will be on probation for one year and will report to Head - Microbiology -R&D.
