Qualifications

• MSc in Microbiology required.
• 3-4 years of experience in scale-up of culture and fermentation-based bioprocessing.
• Experience with biopesticides, biofertilizers, or biostimulants is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control fermentation parameters such as pH, temperature agitation and aeration.
• Conduct fermentation sampling.
• Support scale-up and optimization of fermentation processes.
• Coordinate with Production, QC, and R&D teams to achieve production targets.
• Ensure strict adherence to aseptic practices during inoculation, fermentation and downstream operations.
• Monitor production areas for microbial contamination risks.
• Participate in contamination investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Verify cleaning, Fogging/sanitization, and sterilization effectiveness.
• Maintain and handle microbial culture banks and seed cultures.
• Perform culture propagation activities as per established procedures.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and traceability of microbial cultures.
• Prepare and review batch manufacturing records, logbooks, and process documentation.
• Ensure timely documentation of deviations, CAPA, and change controls.
