Job summary

Sami Sabinsa Group in Hassan, Karnataka is seeking an Executive/Senior Executive Microbiology to advance in the Pharma/Nutraceutical micro lab. The role requires 4–7 years of relevant experience, with responsibilities spanning MLT, daily lab monitoring, water sampling and validation, and non-routine analyses under GMP/GLP guidelines.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of experience in microbiology in pharma/nutraceutical sectors.
• Experience in microbial limit testing (MLT) of bulk drugs, raw materials and finished products.
• Knowledge of GMP/GLP guidelines.
• Ability to maintain records and documentation.
• Willingness to work in Hassan, Karnataka.

Responsibilities

• Microbial limit testing (MLT) of bulk drugs, raw materials and finished products.
• Daily lab monitoring and maintenance of records such as media preparation, growth promotion test records, and related logs.
• Water sampling analysis and validation.
• Non-routine analyses including disinfectant efficacy tests, MPN tests, and total viable spore count for biological indicators.
• Calibration of instruments as per SOPs and disposal of media cultures accordingly.
• Entry of analyzed samples in respective registers.
• Daily and monthly calibration of group B instruments.
• Analysis of samples, reporting, and verification of reports.
• Support to Quality Manager in implementing the quality system.
• Preparation and standardization of volumetric solutions; upkeeping related documents.
• Ensuring GMP and GLP guidelines are followed.
• Maintaining data for documentation, test procedures and reprocess abnormalities.
• Review and update SOPs.
• Any other tasks instructed by reporting authority.

Position: Executive / Senior Executive Microbiology.

Looking for candidates willing to pursue their career in Microbiology Department in Pharma / Nutraceutical Industries.

Total Experience: 4-7yrs.

Job Location: Hassan, Karnataka.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Microbial limit testing (MLT) of bulk drugs, raw materials and finished products etc.
• Daily lab monitoring, Maintenance of Media preparation record, Media stock record, growth promotion test (GPT) record, Media Discard records etc.
• Responsible for water sampling analysis and Validation.
• Non- routine analysis like Disinfectant efficacy tests, MPN Test, Total viable spore count for biological indicators (Ampoule & strips) as well as analyzing the bio load of sampling accessories.
• To implement calibration of Instruments as per the SOP, to ensure the disposal of media cultures as per SOPS
• Ensure the entry of analyzed samples in respective registers.
• Daily and monthly calibration related to group B Instruments.
• Analysis of samples, reporting, checking the reports, records etc.
• Providing support to Quality Manager in the implementation of quality system.
• Preparation and standardization of volumetric solutions and upkeeping of related documents.
• To ensure GMP and GLP guidelines followed.
• To maintain data for documentation, test procedures and reprocess abnormalities.
• To review and update standard operating procedures.
• Any other work instructed by your reporting authority.
