Job summary

HealthMinds is seeking a Senior Medical Writer to create promotional content for global pharma brands. You’ll own full campaigns, review junior writers, and join client calls. You will write for doctors and patients, mostly for the US market.

Work mode: Remote. You may be asked to move to Bengaluru within the next 6 months. Shift: US shift, 5:30 pm to 3:00 am IST. Full time.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of medical writing, mainly promotional pharma content.
• Hands-on Veeva Vault PromoMats experience (required).
• Experience reviewing other writers' work.
• Degree in MBBS, BDS, Pharm.D, B.Pharm, M.Pharm, or life sciences master's/PhD.
• Experience writing promotional pharma assets with identifiable authors.
• At least one digital asset: email, e-detailer, banner or webpage.
• Strong referencing and AMA-style annotation.
• Clear written and spoken English.
• Willing to work US shift (late evening IST).

Responsibilities

• Write promotional content for pharma brands: emails, e-detailers, banners, web pages, social posts and video scripts.
• Write for doctors and patients, mostly for the US market.
• Identify sources: clinical studies, prescribing information, treatment guidelines.
• Back every claim with a reference and annotate it.
• Prepare files for MLR review in Veeva Vault PromoMats and address reviewer changes.
• Adapt approved global content for local markets.
• Check accuracy, references, grammar and consistency before submission.
• Collaborate with project managers, designers, editors and reviewers to meet deadlines.

What you will do

• Write promotional content for pharma brands: emails, e-detailers (CLM), leave-behinds, banners, web pages, social posts and video scripts.
• Write for doctors (HCPs) and patients, mostly for the US market.
• Find and read the right sources: clinical studies, prescribing information, treatment guidelines.
• Back every claim with a reference and annotate it correctly.
• Prepare files for medical, legal and regulatory (MLR) review in Veeva Vault PromoMats, and make the changes reviewers ask for.
• Adapt approved global content for local markets.
• Check your own work for accuracy, references, grammar and consistency before you submit it.
• Work with project managers, designers, editors and reviewers to meet deadlines.

What you must have

• 5 to 8 years of medical writing, with most of it on promotional pharma content.
• Hands-on Veeva Vault PromoMats experience (required).
• Experience reviewing other writers work.
• Degree: MBBS, BDS, Pharm.D, B.Pharm, M.Pharm, or a masters or PhD in life sciences.
• Medical writing experience with a pharma company or a healthcare communications agency.
• Hands-on promotional writing for pharma brands. You must be able to name the assets you wrote.
• At least one digital asset in your work: email, e-detailer, banner or web page.
• Good referencing and annotation skills (AMA style).
• Clear written and spoken English.
• Willing to work the US shift (5:30 pm to 3:00 am IST) on a long-term basis.

Good to have

• Veeva Vault PromoMats experience (required for Senior Medical Writer and Medical Lead).
• Content written for the US market.
• Oncology experience. Other areas are also welcome: immunology, haematology, cardiology, neurology, nephrology (kidney care), vaccines, rare diseases.
• Experience writing for medical device brands.
• Open to moving to Bengaluru within 6 months.
• Can join immediately or within 45 days.
