Job summary

HealthMinds Consulting Private Limited in Bengaluru is seeking a Medical Writer to develop promotional content for global pharma brands, mainly for the US market. You will draft assets from briefs with light senior review, and prepare for MLR review in Veeva Vault PromoMats.

You must have 3–5 years of medical writing experience in promotional pharma and strong AMA-style referencing. Remote India work is possible, with relocation to Bengaluru within 6 months.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of medical writing with promotional pharma content.
• Hands-on promotional writing for pharma brands with verifiable assets.
• AMA style referencing and accurate annotation of sources.
• Clear written and spoken English.
• Willingness to work US shift (evening IST).

Responsibilities

• Write promotional content for pharma brands: emails, e-detailers, banners, web pages, social posts and video scripts.
• Write for doctors and patients, primarily for the US market.
• Identify and read sources: clinical studies, prescribing information, guidelines.
• Back every claim with a reference and annotate it correctly.
• Prepare files for MLR review in Veeva Vault PromoMats and respond to reviewer changes.
• Adapt approved global content for local Indian markets.
• Check accuracy, references, grammar and consistency before submission.
• Collaborate with project managers, designers, editors and reviewers to meet deadlines.

HealthMinds is a healthcare communications company based inBengaluru, India. We create medical and scientific content for global pharmacompanies and healthcare brands across India, the US, the UK, the GCC and APAC.

About the role

We are hiring a Medical Writer to work on promotionalcontent for global pharma brands. You will write new promotional assets from abrief, with light review from a senior writer. You will write for doctors andpatients, mostly for the US market.

Work mode: Remote (India). You may be asked to move toBengaluru and work from our office within the next 6 months. Shift: US shift,5:30 pm to 3:00 am IST. Full time.

What you will do

• Write promotional content for pharma brands:emails, e-detailers (CLM), leave-behinds, banners, web pages, social posts andvideo scripts.
• Write for doctors (HCPs) and patients, mostlyfor the US market.
• Find and read the right sources: clinicalstudies, prescribing information, treatment guidelines.
• Back every claim with a reference and annotateit correctly.
• Prepare files for medical, legal and regulatory(MLR) review in Veeva Vault PromoMats, and make the changes reviewers ask for.
• Adapt approved global content for local markets.
• Check your own work for accuracy, references,grammar and consistency before you submit it.
• Work with project managers, designers, editorsand reviewers to meet deadlines.

What you must have

• 3 to 5 years of medical writing, with most of iton promotional pharma content.
• Degree: MBBS, BDS, Pharm.D, B.Pharm, M.Pharm, ora master's or PhD in life sciences.
• Medical writing experience with a pharma companyor a healthcare communications agency.
• Hands-on promotional writing for pharma brands.You must be able to name the assets you wrote.
• At least one digital asset in your work: email,e-detailer, banner or web page.
• Good referencing and annotation skills (AMAstyle).
• Clear written and spoken English.
• Willing to work the US shift (5:30 pm to 3:00 amIST) on a long-term basis.

Good to have

• Veeva Vault PromoMats experience (required forSenior Medical Writer and Medical Lead).
• Content written for the US market.
• Oncology experience. Other areas are alsowelcome: immunology, haematology, cardiology, neurology, nephrology (kidneycare), vaccines, rare diseases.
• Experience writing for medical device brands.
• Open to moving to Bengaluru within 6 months.
• Can join immediately or within 45 days.
