Job summary

HealthMinds in India seeks an Associate Medical Writer to adapt and update approved pharma content for US audiences. This remote role may move to Bengaluru later; you will prepare content for doctors and patients, with focus on compliance and references.

You'll read clinical studies, annotate sources, and submit for MLR in Veeva Vault PromoMats, coordinating with PMs, editors, and reviewers to meet deadlines; US shift 5:30 pm–3:00 am IST.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of medical writing experience in pharma or healthcare communications.
• Degree: MBBS, BDS, Pharm.D, B.Pharm, M.Pharm, or a masters or PhD in life sciences.
• Promotional writing experience for pharma brands with identifiable assets.
• Experience with digital assets (email, e-detailer, banner or web page).
• Strong AMA style referencing and annotation.
• Clear written and spoken English.
• Willing to work the US shift (5:30 pm–3:00 am IST) long term.

Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of medical writing in pharma or a healthcare communications agency.
• Degree: MBBS, BDS, Pharm.D, B.Pharm, M.Pharm, or a masters or PhD in life sciences.
• Medical writing experience with a pharma company or a healthcare communications agency.
• Hands-on promotional writing for pharma brands. You must be able to name the assets you wrote.
• At least one digital asset in your work: email, e-detailer, banner or web page.
• Good referencing and annotation skills (AMA style).
• Clear written and spoken English.
• Willing to work the US shift (5:30 pm to 3:00 am IST) on a long-term basis.

Good to have

• Veeva Vault PromoMats experience (required for Senior Medical Writer and Medical Lead).
• Content written for the US market.
• Oncology experience. Other areas are also welcome: immunology, haematology, cardiology, neurology, nephrology (kidney care), vaccines, rare diseases.
• Experience writing for medical device brands.
• Open to moving to Bengaluru within 6 months.
• Can join immediately or within 45 days.
