Job summary

Ciel HR seeks aMechanical Engineer in India to support the R&D team on cooling-unit projects. The role emphasizes detailed design, calculations, and manufacturing drawings, with strong focus on deliverable quality.

You will work with global engineering teams, handle NPD and VAVE activities, prototyping, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards across international contexts.

Qualifications

• Masters or bachelor’s in mechanical engineering.
• Hands on experience in product-based mechanical/manufacturing industry.
• Experience with sheet metal manufacturing and plastic design processes.
• Expert in Inventor Autodesk and AutoCAD.
• Experience in handling product life cycle in Vault, Windchill, etc.

Responsibilities

• Support India R&D Team for cooling unit projects.
• Perform detailed design, design calculations, tolerance stackups and manufacturing drawings; ensure quality of deliverables.
• Collaborate with global and local engineering teams to execute projects.
• Plan, coordinate and execute tasks/projects (new development, product improvement, analysis) to completion with focus on quality and schedule.

To support the India R&D Team for Projects of Cooling units

Outcome Required / Strategic Priorities Main Responsibilities / Critical tasks

• The role is to work on the engineering activities such as detailed design, design calculations, Tolerance stack ups and manufacturing drawings He/ She will be responsible for quality of deliverables of all the activities assigned.
• Working with global and Local engineering team to execute the project
• Expert in Software: Inventor Autodesk, AutoCAD
• Experience in handling Product life cycle in Vault, Windchill etc.
• Prior experience/exposure to working in global engineering environment involving interactions.
• Experience of prototyping.
• Ability to plan, co-ordinate and execute tasks/projects (new development, product improvement, analysis, etc) to completion with focus on quality ofdeliverables and the schedule/ timelines
