Job summary

Shavish Group is seeking an electro-mechanical design engineer to drive component development and adaptive product design. The role involves interfacing with vendors and customers during development, and coordinating tooling and test equipment at sub-vendor sites.

You will be expected to present clear design concepts, ensure manufacturability, and support testing with certification bodies as needed. A strong background in materials, fabrication and 3D CAD is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing electro-mechanical products and assemblies.
• Knowledge of materials selection for metals, plastics and casting.
• Experience with tooling, fixtures and test equipment development.
• Familiarity with ISO documentation and mechanical analysis.

Responsibilities

• Interface with vendor development and customers during product development.
• Coordinate tooling, fixtures and test equipment development at sub-vendor locations.
• Prepare and present design concepts clearly.
• Coordinate with test labs and certification bodies for technical queries.
