Location: Mumbai (Handling Branches in Maharashtra, Karnataka and Goa)
Lead and execute large-scale, high-velocity talent acquisition for the Retail Branch Banking (Liabilities) vertical. This role owns end-to-end frontline bulk hiring, lateral liability recruitment (CASA, Wealth/Affluent, Branch Operations), annual campus hiring programs, and team governance to support aggressive branch network expansion.
1. Volume & Frontline Hiring (Retail Branch Banking and Liabilities)
a. Drive high-volume sourcing and rapid ramp-up for frontline and middle-management liability profiles, including Branch Managers (BM), Branch Sales Managers (BSM), Relationship Managers (RM - CASA / Elite / NRI), Sales Officers / Acquisition Managers, and Branch Operations (CSO/CSM).
b. Design multi-channel sourcing pipelines (Direct Sourcing, Job Portals, Walk-in Drives, Employee Referrals, Local Community Sourcing, and Staffing Vendors) to ensure a steady pipeline across multi-state branch footprints.
c. Manage strict hiring SLAs, focusing on minimizing Time-to-Fill (TAT), optimizing Cost-per-Hire (CPH), and driving high Offer-to-Joining ratios.
2. Campus Recruitment Strategy & Execution
a. Formulate and execute the annual Campus Hiring Strategy across B-Schools and undergraduate colleges for Sales Trainee / Management Trainee batches.
b. Own campus relationship building, empanelment, branding, pre-placement talks (PPTs), assessment coordination, and final selection drives.
c. Manage post-offer engagement programs to curb early dropouts and ensure smooth onboarding for campus cohorts.
3. Team Leadership & Channel Governance
a. Lead, mentor, and track the daily productivity of a recruitment team (recruiters, team leads, and off-roll/contract coordinators).
b. Manage recruitment vendor partnerships (RPO, staffing agencies, local consultants), conducting regular vendor performance evaluations and SLA audits.
c. Institute daily allocation huddles, open-requisition tracking, and stage-gate conversion monitoring.
4. Stakeholder Management & Operational Excellence
a. Partner closely with Regional Heads, Zonal Heads, and Circle Heads (Liabilities) to forecast manpower demands, branch launch timelines, and attrition backfills.
b. Coordinate with Onboarding, HR Operations, and Background Verification (BGV) teams to ensure 100% compliance with banking statutory standards and audit readiness.
c. Monitor hiring analytics, publishing weekly/monthly dashboards on source mix, early-life attrition, and channel efficiency to HR leadership.
