Job summary

the Sleep Company seeks a seasoned leader to own strategy for indirect procurement across store expansion, repairs, maintenance and logistics. You will head the Indirect Pod, mentor the Manager - Indirect Procurement, and partner with Retail, Supply Chain, Finance and Admin on budgets and rollout timelines.

You will drive sourcing for fit-out contractors, furniture, fixtures, lighting, signage, and manage R&M, AMCs, and logistics procurement.

Qualifications

• 12–14 years in indirect procurement in retail, consumer, FMCG or e-commerce.
• Retail new-store sourcing & rollout including furniture, fixtures, civil and interior fit-out.
• R&M/AMC and logistics procurement experience (freight, warehousing, last-mile).
• Hands-on ERP experience (SAP / Oracle or similar) in a procurement role.
• Experience with P2P and S2P platforms (Coupa, Ariba, Zycus, GEP or similar).
• Spend analytics using Excel / Power BI or similar.
• SRM with structured supplier reviews and risk tracking.
• Vendor scorecards design and usage for performance and sourcing decisions.

Responsibilities

• Runs spend analytics and the vendor scorecard framework for the Indirect Pod; drive S2P / P2P adoption.
• Oversee the overall indirect category plan (IT, SaaS, HR, admin, professional services) and set governance.
• Partner with Retail, Supply Chain, Finance and Admin on budgets and rollout timelines.
• Mentor the Manager; delegate tail spends, rate contracts and follow-ups to build bench strength and backup cover.

MUST-HAVE

• Retail new-store experience: sourcing and rollout of new stores, including store furniture, fixtures, civil and interior fit-out and vendor management at scale
• R&M / AMC and logistics procurement experience (freight, warehousing, last-mile)
• Hands-on ERP experience (SAP / Oracle or similar) in a procurement role
• Working experience with P2P and S2P platforms (e.g., Coupa, Ariba, Zycus, GEP or similar): e-sourcing, e-auctions, contract management, PO and invoice workflows
• Spend analytics: spend cube, category segmentation, Pareto and tail-spend analysis, savings tracking, with Excel / Power BI or similar
• Supplier relationship management (SRM): structured supplier reviews, joint business plans, risk and compliance tracking
• Vendor scorecards: ability to design and run a scorecard (quality, cost, delivery, service, compliance) and use it to drive performance and sourcing decisions
