Job summary

Mahindra and Mahindra Limited is seeking a strategic professional to lead inorganic growth initiatives, identify partnerships, acquisitions, and collaboration opportunities aligned with the group's objectives.

You will conduct market research, perform financial analysis, and work cross-functionally with strategy, finance, operations and legal to ensure successful execution, while reporting progress to senior management.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years in mergers & acquisitions, fundraising, financial due diligence or valuations.
• Preferred in front-end investment banking or private equity.
• CA or Master’s degree in Finance, Business or related field.
• Strong knowledge of financial concepts and ability to analyse financials.

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

In this key role, you will be responsible for developing and executing inorganic growth strategies and initiatives that support Mahindra Group’s growth and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identification and Evaluation: Identify potential partners, acquisition targets, and collaboration opportunities in line with the group’s strategic plan.
• Market Research: Conduct detailed market research to outline key industry trends, competitive landscape, value drivers for the industry and emerging partnership opportunities.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analysis to assess the attractiveness and return potential of opportunities-at-hand
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments and businesses within the group, such as strategy, finance, operations, and legal, to ensure successful partnership execution.
• Report and Communication: Provide regular updates to senior management and key stakeholders on the status and performance of partnerships and alliances.

Experience

• 3-4 years of experience in mergers & acquisitions, fund-raising ,financial due diligence or valuations.
• Preferred industry experience in a front-end investment banking/private equity role.

Qualifications

CA or Master’s degree in in Finance, Business, or a related field from a premier institute.

General Requirements

• Strong knowledge of financial concepts and ability to quickly comprehend and analyse company financials.
• Proficiency in financial modelling, data analysis and reporting.
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, as well as strong writing & communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with senior professionals in an engagement team
