Job summary

Gala Precision Engineering seeks a skilled professional to manage RFQ handling and drive product development for springs, stamped parts and safety washers. You will coordinate union workforce, prepare MIS actions, and maintain PPAP/APQP documentation while supporting customer audits and plant approvals.

You will also oversee external testing and validation activities and contribute to CAPEX finalization, ensuring compliance with IATF standards and process audits where applicable.

Qualifications

• Expertise in stamping, heat treatment, and coating processes.
• Familiar with tool room machines and processes.
• Proficient in product inspection and testing.
• Knowledge of costing.
• Experience with VDA6.3 process audit.
• IATF certification.

Responsibilities

• RFQ handling and vendor liaison to secure quotes.
• Lead product development for springs, stamped parts, and safety washers.
• Coordinate union worker activities and plant manpower.
• Prepare and implement MIS actions and dashboards.
• Maintain PPAP and APQP documentation workflows.
• Support customer audits and plant approvals.
• Oversee external testing and validation programs.
• Assist CAPEX finalization and capital expenditure reviews.
