Job summary

Space Matrix is seeking an experienced IT infrastructure professional to plan, implement, and maintain desktops, servers, printers, voice and network infrastructure for high uptime across the company. You will lead the global IT helpdesk, drive IT operations roadmaps, and ensure 95%+ user satisfaction.

With 7+ years of relevant experience and a solid foundation in Active Directory, Google Workspace, and security practices, you will own procurement, licensing, and ITAM processes while supporting

Qualifications

• Engineering or bachelor’s degree in any branch (preferred Computer Science / Electronics / Telecommunication).
• Microsoft or any relevant technical certification.
• Minimum 7+ years relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and maintain desktops, printers, servers, voice and network infrastructure for maximum uptime.
• Lead the IT helpdesk to meet SLAs and maintain 95%+ satisfaction.
• Act as final escalation point for complex technical issues and executive support.
• Perform root-cause analysis on ticket trends and deploy permanent fixes.
• Own procurement lifecycle for laptops, peripherals, AV gear, and software licenses.
• Manage IT OpEx budget and negotiate vendor discounts.
• Oversee IT Asset Management for hardware visibility across teams.
• Coordinate IT deployments for new site launches and expansions.
• Oversee local network deployments and standardize conference room AV setups.
• Regularly audit software to prevent shadow IT and prep for audits.
• Ensure device and software compliance with security frameworks.

About The Role

The person will be responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining desktops, printers, servers, voice and network infrastructure to ensure consistent performance through maximum uptime.

What Makes The Role Successful

• Infra Management: Manage the global AD servers, Sites, Antivirus Administration Console, Google Workspace Management.


• Service Desk Leadership: Manage the global IT helpdesk team to meet strict SLAs and maintain a 95%+ satisfaction rating. Define the long-term IT operations roadmap, ensuring infrastructure scales smoothly with company growth.


• Tier 3 Escalations: Act as the final point of escalation for complex technical issues, business-critical outages, and executive/VIP support.


• Root-Cause Analysis: Track ticket trends to identify recurring technical friction and deploy automated, permanent fixes.


• SaaS & Hardware Purchasing: Own the full procurement lifecycle for employee laptops, peripherals, AV gear, and software licenses.


• Budget & Cost Control: Manage the IT OpEx budget, negotiate volume discounts with vendors, and eliminate wasteful spend.


• Inventory Tracking: Oversee IT Asset Management (ITAM) systems to maintain 100% visibility of hardware across remote and in-office teams.


• New Site Launches: Partner with internal teams to project-manage and execute IT infrastructure setups for new office openings and expansions.


• Network & AV Standards: Oversee local office network deployment (Wi-Fi, ISPs, firewalls) and standardize conference room AV setups (Zoom/Teams Rooms).


• License Audits: Regularly audit software utilization to eliminate "shadow IT," reclaim idle licenses, and prep for vendor audits.


• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all end-user devices, patches, and software applications comply with security frameworks


• Lifecycle Automation: Maintain secure, automated employee onboarding and offboarding workflows via GPO or other tools.


• Software Renewal: Maintain the software renewals for all subscriptions and keep the business & finance team informed about the procurement.
