This role will build and lead this function at PlaySimple Games and will be someone who can own the relationship between the company and the investor community and help tell the PlaySimple story at the highest level. This role will be based in Bangalore, India and will report to the Chief Financial Officer.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead all Investor Engagement & Communication activities: develop and execute a comprehensive investor relations strategy aligned with the long‑term vision, serve as the primary point of contact for institutional investors, analysts, and other stakeholders, organize investor meetings and earnings calls, and contribute to the creation of investor messaging integrated with the company’s strategic goals.
- Financial Storytelling & Market Positioning: articulate the company’s financial performance, strategic initiatives, and growth outlook effectively to the investor fraternity, lead the data support and validation process for the IR team’s earnings materials, and support all aspects of earnings preparation including release, script drafting, inner team coordination, Q&A, and drafting in collaboration with finance and strategy teams.
- Continuously gather market intelligence & feedback: monitor market trends, competitor performance, and investor sentiment to provide actionable insights to senior leadership, gather and analyze investor feedback to refine messaging and improve engagement with the larger community, and prepare timely reports for senior leadership including analyses of stock performance, peer benchmarking, analyst research and investor interactions.
Requirements
- At least 7+ years in investor relations, investment banking, buyside investing, or equity research, with meaningful time in B2C internet organizations or gaming tech organizations.
- Know the financial metrics institutional investors care about and can build the model and explain it in a room full of VCs or analysts.
- Built and maintained investor relationships across complex cap tables and navigated sophisticated, multi‑party stakeholder dynamics.
- Write and speak with clarity and precision, distil complex strategy and financials into narratives that land with sophisticated audiences.
- Established network across institutional investors, VC, and/or investment banking, particularly in B2C tech and online gaming.
- Operate well with autonomy, a self‑starter who takes ownership, moves fast, and holds a high bar for their own work.
