Purpose of the Role

Responsible for Manufacturing of Engine Assembly & Testing, Develop Delivery & Productivity action plan and its implementation, Loss Analysis, Process issue online, DWM management with Strong Analytical skill and vigil on Safety and quality of line.

Job Responsibility

• Independently manage Activity of Mfg. activities for Engine Assembly to Ensure SQPDCME goals are Achieved.
• Engine Assembly DPR, OEE, Loss Report and Action Plan.
• Adherence to Daily Production Plan
• Process Issues / Quality issues Resolution related to NCI.
• Engine defect identification and root cause analysis.
• New model Line set up , line setup, and ramp up.
• Capacity improvements through debottlenecking and improvements
• Rejection system-implementation of zero rejection concept
• Revenue cost reduction –initiatives for implementation and practice Improvement idea generation and implementation
• Interaction with all support functions and concern resolution with the help of CFT Generate Safety working culture.
• Develop improvement of culture.
• Knowledge of quality systems and adherence Implementation of TPM in Machining Driving cost reduction, Power cost Reduction & productivity improvement projects
• Safe operation of Machineries
• Coordinate with line management on a regular basis.
• Immediate & quick actions on Layer Audit points & SLA points.
• Enhance the skill level of team members by conducting technical training / on job training.
• Departmental MIS preparation
• Routine reports preparation.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Education: BE/ B.Tech (Mechanical/Automobile)
• Relevant Experience: 5-15 years

Skills & Competencies

• Engine Assembly & testing Manufacturing process.
• Firsthand Exposure on Pari Conveyor Systems cold test benches, FEV Hot test beds, ASRS/AMR Technologies, Apriso Digitization System, BOSCH DC tools & MSNR’s, Sealant Dispensing Systems, Vision Systems, Robots, Siemens Based Control Systems.
• Exposure to Engine Systems Like Crank Case, Cylinder Head, Crank Shaft, Cooling Systems, Oil Circuits, Combustion Systems, Fuel Systems, EMS Systems Etc.
• Quality Tools and their applications like CMM, QDAS, Data monitoring and analysis , Problem solving tools & techniques such as - Cause-Effect, Control charts, Pareto analysis , Kaizen, QFD , Six Sigma, SPC, MSA, PFD, Control Plan, WIS, PFMEA, TQM, DWM Etc.
• People Management / IR issue handling / conflict Management.
• MOST understanding, Line Balancing, and Work content reduction.
• TPM Principles and application.
• IATF 16949 & Quality systems.
• Dupont Safety Standards, HIRA, Safe Work Zone, AIA Preparation & Analysis.
