Job summary

Mahindra And Mahindra Ltd. is seeking an experienced engineer in the automotive quality domain to lead QA initiatives across product lines.

The role focuses on resolving customer complaints, analyzing failed parts, and driving corrective actions within ISO 9001:2015 / IATF 16949 frameworks; you will spearhead audits, CAPA, FMEA and QMS improvements, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure defect-free assemblies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical or Automobile with 7–10 years in automotive QA.
• Experience in ISO 9001:2015 / IATF 16949 environments.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving to drive CAPA and FMEA.
• Ability to manage audits and drive QMS compliance.

Responsibilities

• Resolve customer complaints and analyze failed parts.
• Prepare consolidated action plans and identify trends for improvement.
• Manage Z stages and ensure assembly processes deliver defect-free products.
• Proactively identify process gaps and implement corrective actions with cross-functional teams.
• Conduct product/process audits and report to stakeholders as per control plan.
• Perform QCRT and ensure closure of concerns.
• Establish and sustain QMS per ISO/IATF standards.

Select how often (in days) to receive an alert:

• Resolving Customer complaints, failed part analysis, ICA/PCA identification, Verification & Implementation.
• Preparing consolidated action plan for customer complaints ( field / user plant) and analyze the trend for improvements.
• Management of Z stages & ensuring adherence of assembly processes to deliver defect free product.
• Pro-actively identify process gaps, concerns and executing corrective measures along with CFT.
• Global demerit audit – for ongoing models & new projects. Maintain test bed & run the engines as per SOP.
• Conducting Product / Process audits & reports circulation to all stake holders as per control plan.
• Conduct QCRT and ensure closure of concerns.
• Establish and sustain Quality Management System as per ISO 9001:2015 / IATF 16949 standard.
