Job summary

Kirloskar Brothers Limited is seeking a Health, Safety & Environment professional to develop and implement safety programs across plants in Maharashtra. You will lead training, risk assessments, audits, and continuous improvement of safety standards.

Responsibilities include maintaining regulatory compliance, conducting awareness sessions, and promoting a proactive safety culture among employees and management. Experience with ISO/ADIS and related standards is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Must have knowledge of Health & Safety regulations.
  • Experience in planning and delivering training and awareness sessions.
  • Strong capability in risk assessment and hazard analysis.
  • Proven track record in auditing and inspecting safety practices and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Compile safety programs and ensure safe working techniques.
  • Implement and maintain health and safety standards across facilities.
  • Establish professional relationships with employees and management.
  • Maintain compliance with safety regulations and environmental rules.
  • Conduct regular awareness sessions on best practices for fire and safety.
  • Standardize health and safety protocols to ensure consistency.
  • Identify hazardous waste and ensure proper disposal.
  • Promote safety initiatives and culture across the organization.
  • Prepare and maintain safety registers and ensure documentation compliance.
  • Produce periodic MIS, minutes, and reports for management.
  • Regularly inspect equipment and assess safety conditions.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable legal requirements.
  • Audit safety activities and compliance.
  • Establish and maintain environmental and OHSAS KPI requirements.
  • Safety management, monitoring, and reporting in the workplace with staff engagement.

Role & responsibilities
  • 1. Compile safety programs
  • 2. Practice Safe Working Techniques
  • 3. Implement and maintain health and safety standards
  • 4. Establish a cordial and professional relationship with employees
  • 5. Maintain Compliance with all safety regulations
  • 6. Conduct regular awareness session to share best practice for Fire & Safety Precautions
  • 7. Standardize health and safety in order to remain consistent
  • 8. Identify hazardous waste and disposing of it correctly
  • 9. Promote safety initiatives
  • 10. Compile and maintain relevant registers to ensure compliance
  • 11. Periodical MIS, minutes meetings, and reports compiled for management
  • 12. Regularly inspect equipment
  • 13. Compliance to all applicable legal requirements
  • 14. Auditing compliance & safety activities
  • 15. Establish & maintain requirements related to Environmental &
  • 16. OHSAS standard requirements KPIs

Safety Management, monitoring and reporting in the workplace, and engage staff in programs that ensure safe practice in the workplace/location/plant. Awareness session for employees on the importance of health and safety on the job. Prevent / Reduce Pollution & occupational hazards across the organization

  • M.Sc / M. Tech - Environment Engineer
  • OR Diploma/ BE - Mechanical Or Electrical
