Job summary

Pradeep Metals is seeking an experienced EHS auditor to join the internal audit team. You will write non-conformity reports, review and update safety policies, and monitor hazardous conditions across plant operations.

The role requires knowledge of national and international safety standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, OHSAS 18001) and the ability to train staff in injury prevention and emergency management. You will coordinate with regulatory bodies as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in internal auditing and NC reporting.
• Knowledge of safety legislation and policies.
• Ability to conduct plant safety inspections and review subcontractor safety plans.

Responsibilities

• Participate in internal auditor team and prepare NC reports.
• Review existing policies and measures and update per legislation.
• Monitor and assess hazardous and unsafe situations.
• Investigate accidents in incident areas and report to authorities (MPCB, DISH, MIDC, TBIA, NSC).
• Carry out plant safety inspections and review subcontractors' safety plans.
• Provide training on injury prevention and emergency management.
• Ensure tools and equipment are adequate and safe for use.
• Ensure compliance with EHS guidelines and QMS/EMS standards.

Role & responsibilities

Participation in internal auditor team , Able to write audit NC report. Review existing policies & measures and update according to legislation. Responsible for monitoring and assessing hazardous & unsafe situations.
Investigate accidents that have occured within incident areas Report to MPCB, DISH, MIDC, TBIA and NSC. Carry out plant safety inspection also review subcontractors safety plans. Training regarding prevention of injury (Excercises on how to manage emergency situation) & verfies that all toolsand equipment are adequate and safe for use. Knowledge of Industrial safety / familiar with audits prepardness / Additional knowledge of EHS (Environement & Health). Knowledge of QMS (minimum Internal Auditor ISO 9001:2015). Knowledge of EMS (minimum Internal Auditor ISO 14001:2015). Knowledge of OHSAS (minimum Internal Auditor OHSAS 18001;2007). Knowledge of EHS (minimum Internal Auditor ISO 45001:2018). Well versed with Factories Act, 1948. Different type of work permit release . To ensure that Company is in Complaince & adhere to oocupational health & safety (OHS) guideline. Responsible for Planning & implementing and overseeing Company employees safety at work. Responsible for management directed any additional work related to EHS "OR" If any.

Preferred candidate profile

1. BE - Mechanical "OR" BE-Production / B.Sc - Chemistry "AND"
2. ADIS (Advance Diploma in Industrial & Safety) by MSBTE
3. Engineering Industry / Purely Manufacturing Sector
4. (And not in building and construction sector)
