Job summary

ITC in Bengaluru seeks an EHS-oriented professional to independently conduct safety checks of equipment, ensuring guards and interlocks function correctly. You will maintain meticulous records and prepare reports using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for EHS processes.

The role requires knowledge of safety standards, risk assessment basics, and experience with audit trails. Prior exposure to factory safety practices is preferred, with a focus on documentation and compliance.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Safety, Environment science.
• Knowledge of basic Electrical/Mechanical installations in a factory.
• Industrial safety Diploma.
• Understanding of safety standards (national/international).

Preferred candidate profile :

Qualifications :

Graduate in Safety, Environment science.

Knowledge of basic Electrical/Mechanical installations in a factory / Industrial safety Diploma

Work Experience :

• To conduct safety checks as per prescribed checklists in electrical and mechanical safety
• To maintain records of checks conducted and ensure proper documentation
• To have a basic understanding of safety standards (national / international).
• To be conversant with Risk assessment, Hazard spotting, Work permit system.
• Prior experience as EHS executive in plants / Factories
• Exposed to laboratory safety practices

Skills :

• Prepare checklists in line with the EHS requirement
• Knowledge of Microsoft EXCEL, MS WORD and PowerPoint

• Exposure to process audits

Knowledge :
