Job summary

Loom Solar Pvt. Ltd., Faridabad, Haryana, seeks a Senior Maintenance Engineer/Manager with 10+ years in solar PV module manufacturing maintenance. You will lead maintenance on fully and semi-automatic lines, plan preventive schedules, and drive TPM, Kaizen and OEE improvements to ensure continuous production.

You'll manage a team of engineers and technicians, coordinate with production, QA, and stores, and ensure safety and compliance with ISO standards while optimizing uptime and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years of experience in maintenance of solar PV module manufacturing equipment.
• Experience with preventive, predictive, breakdown, and corrective maintenance of fully and semi-automatic production lines.
• Hands-on experience with diverse manufacturing machines (Stringer, Layup, Laminators, Framing, testers, packing).
• Managed maintenance budgets and ensured safety and compliance with ISO standards.

Responsibilities

• Maximize machine uptime and achieve production targets through preventive maintenance planning.
• Lead a maintenance team of engineers and technicians, ensuring SOP adherence and safety.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Process Engineering and Stores for smooth operations.
• Drive TPM, 5S, Kaizen and Lean initiatives to improve OEE and reduce downtime.
• Manage spare parts, vendor development, AMC contracts and maintenance budgets.

Senior Maintenance Engineer / Maintenance Manager

Professional Experience

• Over 10 years of experience in maintenance of solar PV module manufacturing equipment.
• Expertise in preventive, predictive, breakdown, and corrective maintenance of fully and semi-automatic production lines.
• Hands-on experience with Stringer Machines, Layup Stations, Bussing Machines, Laminators, Framing Machines, Junction Box Fixing Machines, EL Testers, Hi-Pot Testers, Flash Testers, IV Testers, Cleaning Machines, and Packing Lines.
• Responsible for maximizing machine uptime and achieving production targets through effective maintenance planning.
• Conducted root cause analysis (RCA) and implemented corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to minimize recurring breakdowns.
• Planned preventive maintenance schedules and annual shutdown maintenance activities.
• Managed installation, commissioning, and calibration of new manufacturing equipment.
• Maintained utilities including air compressors, chillers, vacuum pumps, DG sets, transformers, LT panels, UPS systems, HVAC, and compressed air pipelines.
• Led a maintenance team of engineers and technicians, ensuring adherence to safety and maintenance SOPs.
• Implemented TPM, 5S, Kaizen, and Lean Manufacturing initiatives to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
