Job summary

Taal Tech India in Bengaluru seeks a seasoned Structural Engineer to design and oversee industrial structures across oil, gas, petrochemical, power, and metal sectors. You will lead foundation, steel and concrete analyses, develop drawings and specs, and ensure code compliance.

You will coordinate with disciplines, conduct site studies, mentor juniors, and support planning and cost estimation to ensure timely delivery of engineering tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience in the design of industrial structures.
• Lead the design and analysis of foundations, steel structures, and concrete structures.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to resolve interface issues.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed structural drawings, specifications and calculations.
• Prepare and review civil drawings and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with codes and standards (ACI, AISC).
• Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies.
• Oversee construction activities to ensure design conformance.
• Mentor junior engineers and designers.
• Support project planning, scheduling and cost estimation.
• Collaborate with project management for timely task delivery.
• Participate in design reviews, HAZOP studies and constructability reviews.

• Experience in the design of industrial structures, including those in oil and gas, Petrochemical, Power, Metal & Mineral processing plants.
• Lead the design and analysis of foundations, steel structures, and concrete structures.
• Proficiency in civil and structural engineering software (STAAD.Pro, ETABS).
• Develop detailed structural engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations.
• Prepare and review civil engineering drawings and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards (ACI, AISC, etc.).
• Conduct site investigations, assessments, and feasibility studies.
• Oversee the design and detailing of structural components, including supports, frames, and foundations.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to resolve interface issues.
• Participate in design reviews, HAZOP studies, and constructability reviews.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers.
• Support project planning, scheduling, and cost estimation activities.
• Oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with design documents and industry standards.
• Collaborate with project management to ensure timely delivery of engineering tasks.
