Job summary

Saipem, a leading global Engineering, Procurement and Construction company, invites a seasoned Civil & Structural Engineering Lead to join its India operations in Tamil Nadu. The role demands delivering large-scale Oil & Gas EPC projects with robust technical oversight and client coordination.

The candidate must hold a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering (mandatory) and ideally a Master's in Structural Engineering, with 15+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ years in Oil & Gas EPC, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering is mandatory. A Master’s Degree (M.E./M.Tech) in Structural Engineering will be considered an added advantage.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in the Oil & Gas EPC industry.
• Exposure to Field Engineering and Basic/FEED Engineering is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Civil & Structural engineering projects with a minimum scope of 30,000 engineering man-hours and a peak team size of at least 20 personnel.
• Develop project schedules and effectively manage resources to achieve project milestones and delivery targets.
• Prepare and review engineering man-hour estimates based on project quantities and deliverables.
• Manage scope variations and engineering changes arising from input modifications or additional project requirements.
• Perform and oversee the analysis and design of steel and reinforced concrete structures, including pipe racks, shelters, technology structures, equipment foundations, and machine foundations involving dynamic analysis.
• Design industrial facilities such as substations, control rooms, administration buildings, and other plant infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with applicable international codes, standards, and engineering best practices.
