Job summary

Saipem in Chennai, India, seeks a senior Civil/Structural Engineer to perform analysis and design of steel and RCC structures for industrial and Oil & Gas facilities.

You will design pipe racks, foundations, and equipment support structures, apply international codes, and support planning of man-hours and deliverables for projects. 8+ years in Oil & Gas EPC is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in the Oil & Gas EPC industry.
• Exposure to Field Engineering and Basic/FEED Engineering is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis and design of steel and reinforced concrete structures for industrial and Oil & Gas facilities.
• Design pipe racks, shelters, equipment support structures, and associated foundations.
• Carry out foundation design for static equipment and storage tanks.
• Design machine foundations involving dynamic analysis.
• Develop and review designs for industrial buildings such as substations, control rooms, administration buildings, and other plant facilities.
• Apply international codes, standards, and engineering best practices in design activities.
• Support engineering planning activities, including man-hour estimation and deliverable forecasting.
