Job summary

TechnipFMC in Hyderabad is seeking a Senior/Lead Installation Analysis Engineer with experience in dynamic analysis to join our offshore projects team.

You will ensure compliance with design rules, liaise with the Project Team, and verify installation feasibility of rigid/flexible pipelines and subsea structures. You will author installation analysis reports and mentor peers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in civil/ mechanical or related engineering field.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Baseline knowledge of offshore structures and wave hydrodynamics.
• Experience with installation analysis software (Orcaflex, Flexcom, Deeplines, Offpipe).

Responsibilities

• Ensure analysis adheres to established design rules and procedures.
• Coordinate with Installation Analysis Lead and Project Team on data and methodology.
• Assess installation feasibility of rigid/flexible pipelines, umbilicals, and subsea structures.
• Prepare technical documents and installation analysis reports per schedule.
• Perform QA checks of peers' installation analyses.
• Summarize team experience; report status to Installation Analysis Lead.

Job Description

• Ensure analysis is performed in compliance with the established design rules and procedures within TechnipFMC Group
• Liaise with Installation Analysis Lead and/or Project Team to clarify aspects of the work, project data and installation methodology.
• Ensure installation feasibility of rigid pipelines, flexible pipelines, umbilicals, and subsea structures.
• Write technical project documents (such as memo and installation analysis reports, etc.) and ensure deliverables are issued as per schedule.
• Perform quality assurance check of analysis work of peer installation analysis engineers.
• Consolidate team experience in discipline.
• Report project status to Installation Analysis Lead and advise required resources adjustments.

You are meant for this job if:

• Bachelor of Engineering/ Technology degree in civil/ mechanical or any other relevant engineering disciplines.
• Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Basic knowledge in offshore structures/ wave hydrodynamics.
• Experience using installation analysis software (Orcaflex, Flexcom, Deeplines, Offpipe, etc.)

Nice to have:

• Master of Engineering/ Technology degree in Offshore Structures/ Ocean Engineering or any other relevant engineering disciplines.
• Experience in offshore installation related activities.
• Python knowledge.
